Quite honestly, as the company/industry looks to rely less on the agency model of distribution, all of our positions are at risk.
If you are too ignorant to read the tea leaves and want to rationalize to death that your job is safe, then don't be shocked on what invariably happens. Here's the truth...the people who gripe constantly yet still inexplicably are still left at Allstate are the people with minimal to zero like job prospects outside of Allstate. They lack the skills, work ethic, track record of performance, advancement profile to make a lateral type compensation move to another company. And they KNOW it. So hence they gripe 24/7 and intend to hang on at Allstate to the bitter end. Because the alternative is be devastated economically unless you are in a position to retire or have spouse / partner who makes a good income to support things.
With each “new team” and each “new process” that is being off loaded from your desk, the closer you are to being eliminated. All in the name of making your job easier because TW GS and EB care so much about your mental health. …don’t believe it !
I think the layoffs are happening in the form of: Allstate ships you off to work for a vendor, and they lay you off (without severance).
It’s another secretive tactic they use in this war on the American workforce. You are on a need to know basis and you don’t need to know anything this company is planning until it affects you.

They are keeping this tight lipped for the time being. As more adjusters leave for better opportunities and more adjusters are hired overseas. They are not only NOT sharing the news if the American adjuster departures, they are hiding the departed adjusters pending by giving it to temps (those they hired back as temps from the ones they laid off in 2020)) The psychology of this is amazing. Allstate is really good at mind fu----g staff. SO….as adjusters leave on their own, the need to lay them off goes down. The attrition of the American adjusters is atrocious. Are they telling you daily who has left ? Nope. And they ain’t going to. Just keep you in the dark like a mushroom and feed you BS is the name of the game. It’s taking longer to get India and AI up to full speed. The adjusters quitting are quitting faster than they can train India and program the bots. Maybe 2023 is another lay off year but not this year.
