Backroom disaster

So, our market manager came in yesterday and ripped the backroom associates … each shift is short 1 person and he is mad cause RTV’s aren’t getting done and the bare minimum of claims is getting done .. our 2nd shift doesn’t touch claims and us on 1st shift just don’t have time … maybe if home office would get rid of books or at least bring back the claims clerk position claims would get done … we try to get in there but then the managers are screaming that we need to do another DC cause 2nd shift can’t do it … on top they want us cleaning every nook … we are all ready to walk !! Some say backroom is a gravy job … work it for 1 week .. your attitude will change

If your backroom is any where near ours it's just a pile of cr-p in the morning when we walk in. Go backs,broken cases of water, returns from member service, and anything else they can shove into the space. it is a hot mess. Cutting out jobs to make their pockets bigger.

Claims is not easy. It is very time consuming. Book rtv’s every week now. And liquidations are ridiculous. Anything they want to get rid of off the floor they dump on backroom and tell us to liquidate. Code 2 returns are out of control and you send them to club voices to activate the # so you can do the corrections and they never get activated. Been sitting on a pile of code 2 returns for weeks/months that I have submitted over and over and over again and still not getting activated. Jewelry returns suck because you have to email or call for ra#’s and then spend time going through the shipping process. Detail oriented and time consuming. Then they scream because dc’s are piling up and we are down 3 associates, Wtf do you people want? We are pushing ourselves to the brink and they just keep hammering us. Just lost another associate to a lower paying job somewhere else. Didn’t care that he was taking a huge pay cut, just wanted out, Claims needs to be separate from backroom.

Claims isn’t that difficult, it’s just the pm crew doesn’t care. They think AM crews are lazy and it’s a way for them to enact revenge in a non existent war

3 years and still no one knows how to do claims on evening shift at my club.

It was 3 years ago ..when they got rid of night crew things went down hill.
