Career-oriented:
What matters today is that the manager is progressing and not to solve your d-mb problems.

Misguided:
They believe if there are issues in your area of responsibility then these are "your issues" and not the companies issues. When you report these problems and then that's you asking for assistance and you will have to reason why you are deserving of such assistance.

Woke-show:
Newly placed female leads (say LL2+) appear to put up social media-like shows that you are supposed to attend. That has obviously no purpose in a company and shouldn't exist. But they likely do it to increase their influence and "reach" which is of course even more scary. What will they do it with that one day?

Late-to-the-game:
At Ford, things usually go south with an announcement. It is clear early on that there will be an issue but it is not properly addressed. And oftentimes, issues are also very repetitive. So it could have been addressed but it isn't because of "good tradition".

Managing upward. When you get to a certain level, it's all about making yourself look good to make you boss look good so that you can move up. Those below you are just there to serve your purposes.

Now they are defending CA in a federal lawsuit siding with CA to be able to set their own emissions standards. SMH

With gas prices and interest rates raising rapidly, that's gotta put pressure on F series truck sales. Once the golden goose is not laying gold bars anymore, how are we going to find train stations, multiple new assembly and battery plants, and JFs bonus? He says we will simply cut advertising and marketing just like Tesla, guess we don't need all those folks on those teams and their huge budgets anymore bye bye

TBD! Time will tell if BF vision works. His past record does not give me confidence in him or his senior team. Example the week of the initial bonus announcement followed by JF comments 48hrs later about the salaried workforce he has presently at Ford. The troops have lost confidence & trust in our senior management.
JF took over in the fall of 2020. So, all programs from concept to launch will be tied to his legacy. This also includes protecting the "GOLDEN GOOSE" The ICE F-Series. because if the oval loses that leadership, we are out of business. That will be on JFs watch. We have not seen examples of leadership demonstrated by the senior management. No realistic Vision or Plan that anyone can understand.
