I find it hard to believe the rumors about layoffs, given that a lot of people are still leaving. Who will be left to cut?

Toxic managers implementing impossible goals in a hostile manner have shrunk my unit by 50% in the last year. I suppose that is a cheaper way of saving money then a payout for a layoff in the short term, but these middle management monsters are courting a hostile work environment class action lawsuit.
I left after 6 months. It was not worth the aggravation, total chaos and poor leadership!
Even the new hires are leaving after a few months. What does that tell you.
