Actually the leaders in our area were well aware of the 2020 layoffs well ahead of time and starting spilling the beans to us months before and what they said was pretty spot on to how it went.
Stop asking your direct manager if layoffs are coming. If you recall from 2020, the RCL level had absolutely zero idea that the layoffs were coming. They are just as clueless as the adjusters.
On the bright side, at least the complaining on this site is now related to its intent - layoffs. A step in the right direction
