Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

What now?

Before I left in March 2022, my CSL hinted many more changes were coming. I already knew it was time to jump ship as the BI job I had barely resembled the job I was hired for. I know benefits were ransacked, processes were constantly changing, and more work was outsourced. I can only imagine what they will do/have done next.

I believe I have PTSD from working at Allstate. Even if I got a good file review, I was told all that was wrong and they would “let it go this one time.” Never good enough & constant fear of the next review. Plus the lawyers threatening to sue me personally for bad faith and ruin my credit rating! Assigned claim on top of claim. Working 7 days a week just to survive. Grinding my teeth at night. And constantly more Draconian mandates. It really wears a person down…..

We need a way to sue Allstate for creating a hostile discriminatory workplace. They have forced an ideology on the unsuspecting associates. Gotta be worth tens of thousands for each associate they have excremented on these last 2 years. There are many reasons. Starting with Tom Wilson’s discriminating slips and ending with their demands to make associates believe all their woke BS. They have infringed on so many workers rights. This place and needs to be exposed.

Anyone with common sense would see that many more changes are coming as the next phase of Transformative Growth has been put into motion s of the start of 2022. This includes the removal of layoffs for now and transitioning employees to other department and roles by force to positions of need and letting the employees decide if they accept the new roles or leave the company. This "by employee choice" absolves the company of the very costly severance and unemployment and lets nature take its course in terms of staff reductions. Then the slow movement of roles in which others have been lifted and shifted out of are slowly and quietly moved to and filled by the India employees. This is already clearly underway as many leaders and employees have been told of or moved to their new assignment and the choice to stay under their new "in need" role if squarely on them. If they decide they do not like their new role or are unhappy with it then they choose to leave at no cost to the company at all. The days of waiting for expected severance packages are the way of 2020 and no longer Allstate's approach.
