OpenText has their Infrastructure hacked in their Netherlands datacenter, causing multiple clients such as Swisscom, Siemens to lose proprietary information to hackers. This is no good.
Open Text is likely to have an easier time with the layoffs after its current fiscal year ends. Top employees and contributors to their ongoing success are leaving on their own in droves. I just witnessed 3 of the top 20 account executives move on for greener pastures.
More than likely, yes. If history repeats itself, there has always been a round of layoffs at the end of every fiscal year. Open Text's fiscal year ends June 30, 2022.
