You are always encouraged to contact a law firm when in doubt and should you be so inclined- the poster above is absolutely correct. Don't listen to the chatter on this thread - make your own decision.
Everybody's case and circumstances are unique. We don't know what any one person has been subjected to in the employment relationship, but it is usually harder with less seniority in general. However, you could have that one gold nugget that makes a solid case. If not, you invested maybe about 1 hour of your time and a limited amount of money. If you are young and at least halfway marketable, you may find yourself in a much better employment relationship sooner than you think. There is a very common theme on these boards that I suspect speak for a multitude at Ford Motor - we wish we were retired or with a different company.
Talk to the lawyer who represented Ford folks in the 2018 lawsuit. They will know Ford's playbook and if you have a case.
There have been successful lawsuits over age discrimination during cuts, but can take a long time. Suit from 2018 SRD settled in January for undisclosed amount. Most people can't ride that out.

Layoff is legal. But the process to decide who to layoff is not always legal.
0% chance for a class action. Ford setup everyone who was laid off with a paper trail of made up business reasons.
Why? Because they laid off? Layoffs are legal.
