Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

No pay raise no Collaboration

I am willing to share technical knowledge for a price. Share why some leap ahead whiles others do not. Also, why are those special ones that got promotions needing help from others to train their underlings? Hint, we all know it is rigged so take a hike.

I used to be willing to share knowledge ever since I have been at Windstream it has only resulted in someone sabotaging me and taking my job. I will keep it to myself now, I had a tier 3 Noc guy asked how I resolved a problem just made up some BS.

LOL, so many employees could care less what KA has to say, he had to hijack one of those useless tailgate meetings! !! Hey KA, give me a freaking raise, then I might give a cr-p about your collaboration survey or any other changes you useless executives try to sell. Haven’t had more than a .5% raise in three years. Before that, 3-5% raises and was promoted. This greedy company has totally lost its way.

I wouldn't train anybody. Once you train them you are no longer needed. I was laid-off 2 yrs ago. Worked for a company that W S purchased. After showing the existing techs our fiber huts etc I was let go. Let them sink on their own. A bunch of back stabbers that could care less about you.

They don’t give 2 eff’s about it. It’s just a way for them to say “they listen to us” without really doing that. I won’t be responding. They don’t care about me, so I don’t care about them.

I admit, I've learned a lot at WS. how to do the work of 4 for the pay of one? Do I want to teach someone making 20k less than me what I know so they can send me home to the couch? Don't think so, they will figure it out eventually. Keep up the good work TT!

I plan to collaborate at a new company. Any rumors of upvoming layoffs?
Ideally, I get laid then take one of the new jobs I am being offered.

Our suggestions of cost savings have fallen on management's deaf ears. Why is this "collaboration survey" going to be any different?

TT, take a hike.
