Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

EDS middle management...

...is slowing choking DXC. Like weed in a lake sucking up all the oxygen and not allowing other life forms to live.

All of these leeches are more than 10+ years at EDS/HPES and have formed a strangle-hold with their network. Nor do they work, but also they do not allow others to work.

Had high hopes Mikey 2.0 will clen up these dinosaurs, but sadly all he is doing is lining up his and his croonies pockets and screaming at hard little paid workers. .

It's not just the EDS legacy. My last few managers have been ex-csc and without a doubt the most clueless people I have ever encountered. No technology savvy, no concept of innovation, just reposting and sharing posts from 12+ month tech blogs.

I would have never even considered looking at the CSC careers page and everything I have seen validates this.

Just a few year left and I can retire and leave this sh-t show

Id--ts was full of managers and most of them were not billable and they came over to CSC. Mikey 1 made agreement not to fire them but he should have they are still dead weight today. CSC was leaner and meaner, EDS was full of secretaries and admins and managers non-billable workers

I was an EDS employee when they were EDS. I remember a shift in tone somewhere around the 2000s - revenue growth became the company's purpose above all other considerations - the rest is history.

Can't believe Mike 2 doesn't get rid of these middle/lower management layers.

Such a drag on company performance and the cost is phenomenal.

Got to be a top priority reduction in overheads, its low hanging fruit which adds little value so chopping it out will actually make things run smoother.

Thought dxc duplication would have sorted it as these layers keep inventing additional processes to keep themselves and lower staff busy with non value admin tasks.

$$$$$$$$$ millions to be saved here chopping.

Unfortunately had same model of clowns whilst working at CSC; they talk the game but bully the actual workers to do the work and do more with getting them to work excessive hours - nights and weekends to meet their deadlines - with lack of clear specs / design of the actual project they are delivering.

Didn't help on top with Mikey 1.0 every Q launching his WFR program getting rid of more foot soldiers - piling more work on the people left.

I to had hopes at Mr Shouty sorting things out - but seems like same as Mikey 1.0 to pander to wall street and collect the $$ - which I don't blame them doing for themselves.
