I always get nervous when there's talk about spinoffs, especially if it's my own area. I'm in Athleta and I'm worried that if activist investors are pushing for a spinoff, it will come with major cuts since they're all about maximizing cost savings. In other words, there's no way this will be a good thing for employees. I'll be praying this falls through.
