All of the bozos in old SSG (the new software group,) got promoted. They don’t even understand software. All of them. Instead of fixing the weak, toxic top people, Pat has been promoting them. What a shame. I don’t have confidence anymore,

What about the dead-zone monday meeting ? left intel few months ago but wondering still ST shows up and micro manage.
ST, LP, MR, AS, TP, CF, KP these guys needs to be ACTEd or force to retire.
They hire friends and program managers from AMD and Nvidia and make them Director and senior director and sink the intel.

I’d suggest a 3 year run where all in-place promotions for mid-management and up are frozen. Too many people get a new title + $$$ but no expanded responsibilities. If you promoted up to a vacated position with greater responsibility than your current job, then fine. For all other scenarios, let the promo budget be zero.

Freaking hilarious! The grafix team definitely has a pattern of "failing upwards," just look at ST, a notoriously bad decision maker failed his way up from being a SLM to a VP, and the Windows grafix driver is still a stinking pile. LOL!
