If you’re underpaid by the company, look at other carriers. They’re paying much more money right now in certain scenarios. Once you’re stuck in the Allstate web, you’ll be getting 1-3.5% raises for the most part. If you can make 10k—20k elsewhere, you’ll be miles ahead in the long run. Company not promoting people either. At least take the effort to see what else is available out there. It’s really worth it.
