Is it wrong to feel screwed over by a fellow co-worker who is suddenly claiming to have General Anxiety Disorder and uses that to not have to work ?
Example of that would be taking 8 hours to wrap 3 racks of cookies while I completed all the other racks, plus donations, plus nightly cleaning.
Also this individual in my opinion works slow in order for us to end up having to stay over time every shift.
I feel like I'm being held hostage.
I'm compassionate towards the needs of others but in this situation I feel like I'm being played.

Sounds like a typical millennial to me.
He probably needs his safe space and lives in mom's basement.
To be clear, there's NO OVER TIME !!!
It's cut any over time and hope you finish your work plus your co-worker's work for the day.
But as long as this other person is claiming Mental disability it makes it all right for one person to have to do the work of 2 people as long as we are getting that all mighty paycheck, right ?
That seems to be the mentality of the comments on every post on this site.
Shut up and Stay quiet and let the manipulators play the system in their favor.
When does the good guy win ?
why are you whining about working overtime? you're making a minimum of $22 an hour then. where else are you going to make that for baking & packing? Unless you're having to work 15-20 hours ot a week, take the money. you probably can use it.
Oh this sounds so familiar. We have a person who suffers from some sort of disorder, takes medication for it, so people make excuses for her behavior. This person is horrible, wastes time walking around the floor, does nothing until store closes. This person will run to mgt. in an instance to gossip and report what she thinks is mistreatment. I no longer have any communication with this person.
I have to work with a nasty person too. Horrible. It's like being in an abusive relationship. He's hateful, vindictive, and passive-aggressive to the extreme. I've watched him bate other associates and when they react, he goes to management and complains that they are being abusive to him! I try to stay out of his road, walking on eggshells around him. Management seems to ignore the situation. Can't wait until he gets tired of our department and moves. He moves from department to department a lot.
