OK Boomer @zoo+1ggnSNEL Sorry you are triggered, but not only was I employed for decades but they paid me to leave, which was on top of the literal millions $$$ from decades of maxing the 401k and the previously generous pension. But you have fun now toiling away at this "transformational" company, which has obviously left you miserable😅YOLO
If you've been around that long, you are probably one of the ones getting things done and won't be getting a package, sorry.
At this point I wouldn't take a package as a certainty by the sounds of it. The new flavor at Allstate is filling in needs in areas that are short staffed with forcefully moved employees from areas that are overstaffed. Look at what is happening with leaders and employees being forced to move over to ATSC or face lay offs. Happening as we speak. The only way the severance packages come back in mass is when the move from claims and other areas to India and the massive cost savings warrants paying out the packages. The company spent a lot more money than planned in 2020 with the packages as the same employees that received packages were smart enough to also stick Allstate with unemployment where their states allowed both....and Allstate was on the hook for their severance and a lot of the costs of unemployment. That certainly changed the landscape and future of severance packages for this company. If you are hanging around this company going through the torment to get a severance that you think is certain may not be the sure thing to do anymore.
Fu----g entitled lifers. You're lucky you have been employed for 20 years, what makes you think you deserve a package? Gtfoh
Doing nothing for 20 years while the stock goes from 15 to 143 is a big achievement. I should be rewarded for that.
You didn't do much in those 20 years, why should you get paid to stop doing nothing?
That’s exactly what I’m praying for!
