I'm not even talking about pay, increases, bonuses or benefits here. I'm talking about treating us with respect. About not yelling at us or not using fear-based management techniques or making sure to be there for us when we need something? Just the very basic stuff. Even that bare minimum would change the work atmosphere for the better and I guarantee you it would improve morale. It would cost them literally nothing, and they can't seem to do even that.

If leaders didn’t berate us everyday, what will they do. I have seen many leaders that just can’t seem to put on a respectful tone to people that are below them but rather tends to raise their voice and suggest that you should come out with a plan to improve things. Very strange thought of where a leader may point out something that you’re doing ain’t working and on that same point the only offer of suggestion is for you to rectify it yourself.
See what I mean that their only job is to berate someone lower than them.
They are not compensated to care about employees. DA big year should tell you everything you need to know where leaders put their priority. History will tell you leaders like MM and the likes didn't get where they are by taking care of employees, quite the opposite. He promotes people with the same values that nod their heads and fill their pockets.
Honeywell Leaders are more interested in marketing their new HQ outside of the Panthers football stadium. I also see lots of self congratulatory posts on LinkedIn such as celebrations of new LGBTQ clubs formed....meanwhile they are laying off employees of the Corporate cash team as they move their jobs to Mexico (SLP). Yeah sure they care about their employees....
Many years ago, the same question was asked--by me--of Aero VP John DeW*e. His answer: we're like abused children. We need to fight back, is what he told me. Of course, anyone who fought back, was negatively affected in their raises and reviews.
Read the headline below....singular focus...themselves! Employees are actually impacting their compensation for now and the reason why they want to close facilities and reduce rooftops....employee salaries is the biggest cost lever and clearly DA get rewarded by the board for making a f#$%ing mess of things. Unbelievable, but sure glad I don't have be embarrassed to tell people I work for HW any longer.
To me how come we all can't just work together from top to bottom to make company fun to work for this any company out there. But no we have to have the greedy narcissist people in control of us so sad.
Bc they are stressed to the gills trying to meet there bonuses metrics. They have lost all sense of professionalism and only care about the checks clearing.
Much like the CEO
Thank god I’m gone
