Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Inspire

All of these stupid micromanaging systems that they have us using so they can babysit us for 40 hours a week and they want us to do an inspire survey??? This place is such a joke! I can’t even muster up the energy to open the email!

I just took it as well. For the first time ever I answered honestly, no holding back. The company deserves to know what they created and what they continue to condone.

I’m planning on leaving within the next few months so answering honestly is my managers biggest fear. I completed it today, now to watch her squirm is pure joy.

The Inspire survey lol. What a complete and utter waste of everyone’s time. Don’t take it. If you respond negatively you’ll just be stuck in pointless meetings.

It's a total catch22. If a unit has a low percentage of responses, then the CSL and unit have to conduct a BS problem solving/root cause meeting. If there is a high percentage of responses but they are negative, the CSL and unit have to conduct a BS problem solving/root cause meeting! Total waste of time. The only thing being inspired is for people to leave this company.

I will be inspired when Allstate is out of the business of ripping people off and the life story of Glenn “the butcher” Shapiro is an episode of “Greed” where he is behind bars at the end.z

These surveys are so lame. When was the last time your were inspired by your boss ? Uh,like before Allstate that’s for sure! These goons don’t know how to inspire a flea and have the same attention span level. They blaze no trail of their own and only follow COS principles they brainwashed themselves with in the 90’s. They suck. And they won’t ever change until sold or TW GS and EB leave. Unionize now

And once you send the Inspire survey in you will get a survey on the survey. The whole system is one big cluster F.

The best thing you can do to impact change is not take the survey. Trust me, if enough people in a work group pass on the survey that sends a stronger message than responding with unfavorable answers. This way you can avoid all the BS follow up meetings that lead to nothing.

Just inspire your resume is a better route, it's not worth the backlash to be honest, have been on teams where they grief everyone with inspire meetings everyday until your absolutely numb and refuse to take them ever again

You don't have enough energy to open the email but have enough to post here???

And yes they are anonymous. Just don't write comments where you can be identified by grammar, writing style, etc

FYI, it is an outright lie to call the survey anonymous. The fine print states you are not completely anonymous but your CSL will not be informed. Also, if your CSL regularly reviews your claims, they will recognize your “voice” in any comments you make.

And the Inspire surveys are NOT anonymous. I know this for a fact. If you want a fast track to severance-ville be sure to answer honestly for a few quarters. You'll make that list if you want it.
