Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Anyone here work in PD - with all these rumors of an upcoming layoff, I am getting increasingly more and more anxious. 23 years at Ford and my colleagues are saying that doesn't matter - that they are hiring younger and younger and promoting even younger. I have been passed up by 2 newer employees a decade-plus younger than me and they are no where near as competent as myself. I am fine now with not getting promoted to an LL5 but now I am worried about my job!!! I can't sleep, can barely eat some days or completely stress eat other days. All I think about is whether or not I will have a job in a few months. I am a single mom and need this job. Do I start looking elsewhere? I have a pension at Ford. I don't want to move if I don't have to. But this is eating me alive. Anyone else having these mental health breakdowns because of the "rumors" of layoffs? Maybe this is all it is - rumors. Does anyone have concrete info? I am an LL6 and have not heard of anymore layoffs. Where is everyone getting this info?
