Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Tentative agreement in Richmond.

Appears that Richmond achieved tentative agreement. Ha ha ha to the Union leadership for the failed improvement in terms using the strike. The knuckle headed union leaders clearly do not deserve any respect. FAIL!!!!! Ha ha ha. Sad for those who they were supposed to represent who lost income through this. Current USW leaders are complete failures. They need to be voted out!!!!!

Hey guys, this is a represented member of the union that stands for something. We've found your forum, do us a favor. Put your names on here please? You guys got alot of big talk, but just like the refinery, you're safe on here like within the gates. Put your names on here, we will be seeing you guys soon. Currently sharing your thoughts with the members you chose to speak on, please. Don't be anymore of a coward, if you're a man. Be a man and stand by your word. You are scabs, so I don't think you stand for anything.

These USW “leaders” are a joke. BK, MH, MS, and JG we’re so busy arguing amongst themselves that they had nothing of value to bring to the table, all while getting paid and watching their “brothers” suffer. Quit the union and you’ll immediately receive a 3% raise by not paying dues. I hope all that threatened and harassed the workers in the gates get the swift kick they deserve.

I hope all those involved in sabotage of the facility prior to going on strike and those bullies on the picket line get fired. I certainly hope they are stressed and anxious of this. It was criminal activity. You should be sweating bullets…. Such evil!!!!!!!! So sinful!!!!!! You WILL pay the price. 😃

HEY UNION WORKERS ... if you really want to make a statement before going back in, why don't you hold up a sign that says " I apologize for my behavior to every person Chevron person"

What is truly sad is those who were required to come in and cross the line, not for the refinery but for RTC and yet we got bullied by those who stood on the strike line. I was completely embarrassed by their behavior and appalled by the name calling...and whats worse each and every one of those workers were going to come back at some point. Did you honestly think your behavior would be forgiven?? You stood behind union leaders that only thought of themselves, they shared little to no information yet you were supposed to stand behind them and if you didn't you were shunned. I certainly hope this opened every one of your eyes cause the union is a joke. They should have never been in charge of your lives nor your families. I do hope that the people that crossed can forgive your behaviors. Good luck as it will be a pleasant day in coming back to work when you leave our gates!!!!

Didn’t I read where they consider Richmond an Open Shop, where you do not have to be a USW member to be an operator? Time to vote with your feet and drop out of the Union……there, you just saved your dues.

Lol at anyone who thinks unions are looking out for your at interests. They’re corrupt af and everybody knows it except these left-wing “workers’ rights0 activists that haven’t seen unions up close. Do you think the USW leaders gave up pay during your negotiation? If there’s any brains inside the refinery fences, they’ll deunionize to stop wasting dues that just pad the pockets of these slimy bureaucrats.

The union leaders have such an old school mentality. It’s not the 80s anymore people! No need for unions abs union dues, complete waste of money.
