Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

A fully remote company?

Any info on Allstate becoming a fully remote company? There are still offices that are hybrid and just wondering if those offices will eventually close their doors?

It’s going remote. It’s cheaper.

Not sure how everyone feels about this issue but it certainly seems like there is a ton more micromanagement when working remotely. All of the reporting BS needs to end- completely unproductive

Well progressive is letting me work from home full time, so I’d go there.

Sincerely,
An ex Allstate employee

It is about 80% remote now as it is. Corporate keeps throwing out bull that like 50% of employees want to return to the office full time. Not sure why they would want to spread that misinformation around if they weren't planning to try and push people back into the office. I know they say remote works good but the clowns and corporate hoods always talk out both sides of their vile mouths and can never keep their lies and stories straight so who knows really.

I've heard they'll go fully office again in the next year. That office will be in India, but same none the less
