Companies avoid that wherever possible... staying just below WARN levels.
It also allows for an easier ramp-up for people who have to cover as the number of workers decreases.
Well, my boss quit talking to me halfway through last week…. Fingers crossed!

If it follows form from the last rounds, Managers will be notified on Monday and individuals will be notified on Tuesday.
