This is just a bad place to work, plain and simple. You would honestly think they’d be embarrassed. Moral is low and these guys do not care. It’s sickening to watch how the top brass here are completely ruled by their greed.

The poster asking "Why are any of you still there?" Simple - I am still here because I have not been laid off yet - lay me off and I will be gone, but better make sure it is a good severance or get ready for trial by public opinion - funny thing about pleading for endless government money - eventually it turns into politics and treating employees poorly does not score well with the Squad!
The real question is why do they expect me to care about productivity and meeting timelines when the executives can only care about their own salaries and tell the rank and file tough and wow inflation is high. Is there any denying the strife internal to Windstream?
Anyone claiming they work at Windstream for anything other than a paycheck is a liar including MM and TT.

The collaboration and retention are a joke. We are not competitive and haven't been relative in years. Pick your favorite buzz word bingo (SASE,SD-WAN, etc.) The C level execs will talk about, none of that fixes the issues.

Everything needs a reset.

I have three associates that have recently turned down jobs at Windstream corporate because the salaries are not competitive. We have also had a lot of turnover on my team due to our inability to match offers employees receive. It is embarassing.

I liked how they rehashed old ideas and existing "programs" as something new, exciting, and effective. They talked for an hour and said absolutely nothing.

Yep - they avoid any discussing of raises and inflation. But they did promote the mental health support systems at the end of the meeting for obvious reasons. I have been on many project calls lately involving cursing and despair being openly discussed. Seems the egg is beginning to crack open.
