For walmart home office you have to put in for time off 24 hours in advance. If its a medical thing you have to go through sedgwick.

Trust me, when I say if your doctor's office can't fill the paperwork outright your time off will be denied, no matter what you had or how sick you were. My doctor's offices charge to fill out the paperwork- each time it is resubmitted. A doctor's note should be sufficient, but it isn't anymore.

It's the Sams/Walmart way anymore. You must not be a favored minion! You should be able to use your time off...but if you are gone more than 3 days or need to be, send Sedgwick a letter from your doctor that treated you and you can use your time off. If you don't have enough time off, at least you won't lose your job, if Sedgewick approved. You'll need to have Sedgwick paperwork done also. Can even do short term or long term disability, I believe. I had to do this a few years back. Turn to Sedgwick for correct answers. No one knows anymore at your workplace, or they feed you BS.

Depends on whether you got hurt at work or home. Got hurt at work you just put in for time off and they put you on light duty unless you can't walk. Got hurt at home and they won't let you come back unless you're 100 percent with no restrictions. Get a work comp lawyer if you get hurt at work and they mess with you.
