I heard a large number of Corporate HR employees were laid off today. Guess our sales disappointed more than Marv let on.

Your market human resource business partner is your stores immediate HR - don’t get that confused with the SSA - that (ssa) is full time 40hrs a week MANDATORY-schedule, sits behind a flipping cubicle and jacks up the schedule all day every day!
The ssa changes the schedule without even a salary manager knowing what’s going on just so the ssa can look good on scheduling efficiency. She doesn’t even call the associates and tell them. This happens daily, weekly etc etc - if anyone has a complaint about theirs schedules YOU CANT TALK TO SALARY Mgr because they don’t touch the schedules.
The MKThrBP (aka HR) - every single time an Asm or even the store Mgr would ask for assistance the HR would say call associate relations”AR” Then when you follow the advise of the “AR advisor” the mkt HRBP can use that against you !
That happened exactly in region 15Mkt1371Houston Texas
It’s a horrible business practice.
Fire the AR - advisors - Fire the HR aka Mkthrbp then hire a 3 party HR service PERIOD !
Let's hope it is in the HR area as there are way way too many of them. Centralization of HR happened - why is there still a need for area hr folks? We don't even see ours at all!
They let go of more of the "Talent recruiting" team.
HR is useless Nyway. Might as well as let them all go.
