I’m still here because I don’t think it makes much sense at my age to start again from the scratch. If I were a little younger, I would definitely look for other options. Because, there really are a lot of things that need to be improved here.
Realistically, it doesn't look like much will improve though. Perhaps someone has hope that there will be some improvement still?

I’m in it for the pay check. Nothing more nothing less. Jab or job was an indication of no loyalty from the company. Used to go above and beyond … up to 60 hours per week. Seagate now gets my 40 hours a week. Full days work for full days pay.
Poor allocation of R&D dollars has resulted in an empty portfolio of next generation value. Nobody wants a portfolio of HAMR or LIDAR IP that is dated and nearly worthless...
Yes, they're certainly not this way due to poor management full of 'yes' men/women and continued cuts to the workforce without reduction of overall workload. Definitely not due to silo'd infighting all about posturing and looking good, as opposed to recognizing we're all on the same team. It's the work force that is wrong!
Things are the way they are because of apathetic work force - you can now include yourself in that sample. You reap what you sow!
