Thread regarding Cigna layoffs

I'd rather look for an opportunity in another company

I thought the problem was in me and all I needed in order to be promoted was to try even harder. In the meantime, I became physically and mentally exhausted, and the promotion was given to those who were less qualified.

Seems like you are better off being a brown-noser than a diligent employee here? If brown-nosing is a prerequisite for promotion here, I would rather look for a new job.

If this is what you think about at work and constantly feel undercuts get a new job. There is no such thing as “it gets better” at Cigna, when you’re on the naughty list, that is where you’ll stay. Cigna will be fine without you and you’ll be fine without them.
