Brace yourselves the best you can folks. Wealth in the world is being destroyed at an alarming rate & purchases of high end luxury jets like Gulfstreams will soon be placed on the back burner. No doubt GD & GAC leadership will be looking to slash headcount. Anyone care to estimate when the first round of layoffs will happen? I’m thinking 3 months.

First ja----s they should layoff from here is Aubry Mayse. Talk about someone who doesn't listen or care what his employees suggest.
So many a-s clients who have all the answers, if you don’t like the environment then move on to someplace you believe will treat you better.
Yes, a dead giveaway. But then again how would anyone know you either graduated from the management stupidity program, are a recent new hire or you have cranial rectumitus.
This riffed Negative Commenter gladly admits to not having inside info on current processes and backlog. But I do know my riffed colleagues and I were capable of producing planes that can land in a 15kt crosswind. Best of Luck from the post gac goodlife!
Like most of management and HR. Your assumptions are out of your rear end. Say, anything special going on today? Hmmm
I suppose those commenting negatively are past RIF’d workforce, or someone who has no knowledge of our current and future aircraft backlog.
Blah Blah Blah was a good response.
"Yeah - hiring thousands right now to address current and future demand is a dead giveaway! (Sarcasm)" ... Laying off people who have less than a year of job history at GAC is barely a 1-2 week severance package. They'll have no issue to layoff these new people.
Debbie downers. Blah blah
Typical GAC pendulum swing...pay recruiters and incentives to hire and relocate by the thousands, just to toss those same people out in the trash with big severances just a few years later. Hmmm...any thought to treating humans as a resource? Find the best ones and keep them? I'd bet it would slash the hire/fire HR budget by millions. Alas no. That would make too much business sense.
We all know GAC loves knee jerk reactions. Hire today, fire tomorrow. Let me guess, you’re a recent hire or in the management stupidity program.
Hiring thousands for the demands won't fix supply issues...all it will do is take out the heavier paid experienced techs after they teach the new techs
Yeah - hiring thousands right now to address current and future demand is a dead giveaway! (Sarcasm)
