A study showed that 90 percent of nurses are considering not just quitting, but altogether leaving the profession in the next year. I know this is true for me and many more I work with. If UHG doesn't pay attention and improves the way it treats us, the company might find itself desperately understaffed with nobody available to hire to replace us. Not that I wouldn't enjoy seeing that...

Unfortunately UHG and Optum do not care how they treat anyone. They will continue to make profits regardless of being understaffed or not. The management style being used is directly imported from India and Ireland where they use outdated style and procedures that went out the door 30 years ago here in America. The reason this happened is because American business management discovered those techniques of bullying and micromanagement are not only unproductive but don’t work. The hood workers will just go else where.
They need to pay attention on how they treat EVERYONE below the grade 28..... unless you live in MN or WI you're nothing special..... KARMA
