Gulfstream used to be really good company. Interestingly, now that the company’s reputation has largely deteriorated, leadership is still acting as if this is the ideal workplace. Talk about being out of touch with reality. They either don't notice or pretend not to notice that no one talented wants to work here anymore?

But they are great! Showcasing the product on the side of a building. Magnificent marketing.
Can we just get on with the next RIF.
Who cares
No layoffs in July. Just furlowes.
A resurgence of Unions? Let’s hope not, most are useless in today’s environment.
Oh gosh o jeekers. I heard layoff in July because of some supply issues!
Ahhh Union trolls again. Go check the Boeing layoff board and see where the union was over the past 2 years. Hint: nowhere to be found.
Gulfstream has become an awful company to work for. I have never seen a corporation take so much away from their employees in such a short period of time. The same thing happened to Boeing and we see how awful that company has become now that careerist bottom feeder management are running the show. It is unbelievable that those responsible for the 737 Max crashes haven’t been held accountable criminally. Same can be said about those responsible for the G650 crash. Both companies put marketing above safety & big money insulated them from being held accountable.
Look at policing today, once we put our feet down & started holding them criminally accountable huge progress has been made in reducing abuse of power & corruption. Same needs to happen in the aerospace industry. The real thought of prison time will do wonders in ensuring that management does the right thing.
Since I wouldn’t hold my breath on the government doing the right thing anytime soon, the best course of action is for the employees to unionize. The balance of power did swing too far in the union’s favor once companies started treating their employees decently. Now the balance of power has swung way too far in the corporations favor & unions need to come back. There will be a resurgence in unions now that we have pulled away from globalization and Gulfstream employees might as well lead the way.
Attrition. So paid overtime is the first step in being a great Company? You might want to rethink your perspective, as hard work and a committed work ethic will build and retain the qualities of a great company.
I also have to wonder how many hours of “paid overtime” are actually spent not working (you know who you are) but just showing up and mailing it in?
Sounds like the number of naysayers is dwindling. Everyone can have complaints about where they work, but kind of hard to argue when it’s a record year and the industry is growing again. Sorry - the complaining is kind of annoying and here to speak up for the people who actually DO like working here. Good luck to you and wherever you go. I’m sure they’ll love having you work there and complain on their company site once the honeymoon is over
PAID OT is the first step towards being a great company. They should be able to manage it with so many managers and Directors at the company. BTW gimme 5 is not managing it.
If you don’t think it’s great, why are you still here? I mean seriously…
I’m confused? So customers bought a record number of planes in 2021 because they don’t like the reputation of Gulfstreams products.
