Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Did anyone get a raise as of April 1st?

We had someone who was here for 4 years. First raise. For one day on this check..
I believe they are going to purchase some Kraft mac and cheese. Nevermind, not enough.

Good luck to all of you.

  1. 14%. About a dollar an hour increase. Puts me just over $68k. Not bad for fixing copiers.

I received a 2.6% raise... which is about a third of the bonus they took away...

Xerox and raise are 2 words that are never used in the same sentence.

I would tell them keep your 1% or whatever raise, as you need it more than I do.

Please throw me another piece of lettuce. Maybe don’t whip me today Master. We are all happy to work for free here. Forever.

Sure we are. Useless organization from A-Z. When I need xerox copies I look for a Canon or an Hp copier/printer.

Xerox will never get a dime from me.

If I was a billionaire, I would buy xerox and fire everyone, burn the buildings to the ground, and plant salt and bleach in he soil, so nothing grows there for 300 years.

Just saying…

Everyone got a little something. If you got nothing, you were clowned. Plus you need to leave if you aren’t happy, not post angry messages here.

If all the other stuff going on at this company wasn't enough to get you motivated to leave, maybe the insignificant raises will since those hit your pocketbook.

Just to show its not an isolated opportunity, here's a list of people I know that have left in the last 3 months:

  1. Business analyst in midwest. Left for same type of job, got a 30% raise.
  1. Financial analyst in midwest. Left for same job, got 28% raise.
  1. Supply chain analyst on west coast. Left for 20% raise doing same job virtually at a hospital network.
  1. Manager over backoffice support team. Left for 32% raise doing same job virtually for mortgage lender.
  1. Me. Giving my 2wk notice on Monday, leaving to do same job for midsized company with better benefits and only $2000 deductible, 401k matching up to 8% (deposited quarterly) and 29% more salary.

This is the best time in 20 years to be looking for a job. Don't let it pass you by.
