I really don't know where our manager gets so much energy to be able to monitor even the smallest detail every day. I don't think he produces unnecessary stress just for us, but also for himself, because it is not easy to constantly control employees to such an extent. Crew of full-grown adults are treated like children in kindergarten. I envy anyone who doesn't have a manager like this in their store.

Would also be nice for them to know Sam's members...other than just by the amount they spend!
We have a manager who is so an-l it is ridiculous. He only worries about how he looks to the corporate guys who walk our store. He is unfriendly and a bit of a bully. Personally I try to avoid him as much as possible. He takes vacation every five or six weeks, must be nice. Seems like all our managers get tons of time off. They ought to be more present on the floor, getting to know the associates and perhaps give some praise once in a while.
