I’m not saying there aren’t any great employees overseas. But we all know that customer service is worse than ever, precisely because Allstate thinks that a cheaper workforce is the solution to all the company’s problems. Do they even realize how much worse customer service is now? How is it possible that they are deaf to it?

So here we are, the great American company, working so hard to bring diversity and equality to the forefront as part of our business model. Yet, we rely on India to supplement our workforce. India who has a questionable human rights record and will not condemn the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Are we concerned about diversity and equity or the almighty dollar????

It will only get worse as major changes ahead to reduce expense ratio an additional 3 points. Plan is to offshore work, automate and digitize, and outsource to vendors. Glenn promoted in 2018 to President role, and organic P&C growth still a no-show. His own communications suggest no growth until at least 2023 or 2024 cycle. Turnarounds are hard, but this is quite a bit of pain for such delayed gratification. Meanwhile, stock does fine so maybe nobody cares about growth anyway.
