Impossible metrics to achieve

I am quite convinced that their expectations are unrealistic but sometimes I'm tempted to think if those metrics really are impossible to meet or if the problem is in me, perhaps my work is not good enough.
Regardless of all my experience here, I know many sometimes wonder the same thing. How to be sure that these are unrealistic expectations?

Stick with the thought that your work is not good enough. It is probably the correct one.

Did you ever think that they’re stockpiling. I would bet there’s more plant closures and relocations coming.

You will push the parts. So you can be out of a job faster, all you want is to be noticed by management. It’s all about your selfish goals. How can I move through this company really fast. You should be saying, “ How fast can you get rid of me.”

What’s an old saying, “ If it’s too good to be true, it usually is.“

It means that if something seems oddly perfect, that there is usually some sort of hidden flaw or trap waiting for you

When you get PIP’d, you will know that the goals were realistic.

If you are given a goal but not the resources widely understood to be necessary to accomplish it, that's a red flag.

In one of the town halls a while back, it was mentioned that they believe a certain number of goals should be overly ambitious. It is a painful environment for some temperments. Do your best, keep your manager in the loop about what you are doing to meet the goals and what barriers to exist. Fair managers know the game and will support you. If you have a kool-aid drinking manager that doesn't find a new manager or wait it out. Managers change often enough in this company.

Here is a cup of cool aid and a xanex.
Stop thinking and get back to work drone.
Your bosses have no more clue than you do.
