Probably by end of summer. They say our area is overstuffed but I call bull on that. They are trying to get leaders and front line to voluntarily move to claims and tech but almost everyone is refusing. We don't want to be a part of those dumpster fires and I hear the same thing from my peers here that they would rather take their chances with a severance package than go over to those areas. Some peers actually brought up what they heard about claims from this site and most say no way. It seems if they can't get enough to voluntarily move to those areas or let turnover take its natural course that we will see cuts here by August or September.
Likely not anytime soon. There aren't enough adjusters in claims. My department, as an example, has been trying to hire for at least 6 months.
Not soon enough.
Tomorrow.
Date not yet decided, but the list is out. Your name is on it.
Usually happens in 2nd or 3rd quarter of the year, giving time for the process to play out and getting all the outgoing employees off the books by end of year (so their salaries won't be counted in the next year's budget).
Anytime there is a major holiday best time to maximize misery
We are due one any time now.
