It is interesting how they constantly emphasize that these are small layoffs. Perhaps for USAA these are small layoffs, but for me almost 100 people losing their jobs is a lot. I just hope that all of them will manage to find something better soon and also that there will be no more layoffs?

I was laid off back in 2010 but prior to that USAA had a fairly large layoff in 2002 and when the media got a hold of it they were in the news which I am sure they did not like. They started letting go of people in much smaller groups so to not raise any concern. Way to treat the people who made you look good for years. I am glad I am not there any more.
Small so they don’t have to report the layoff to Texas Workforce Commission?
