Are there any Intel employees that would like to share their thoughts on this?

The guy says it’s his dream job, boy if someone tripled my compensation I’d say my dream job too, what a robber!
50M to 178M made out well and begging for government handouts too, what an America baron capitalist
“Intel said Mr. Gelsinger’s pay reflected his experience, the challenge of transforming Intel and $50 million in compensa-tion he gave up by leaving business software company VMware Inc. Excluding one-time payments, Mr. Gelsinger’s pay for 2021 was about 276 times that of the company’s median worker, Intel said in its annual proxy statement.”
Engineers who work at Intel please leave the company. Pat will soon make a billion not a million. No need to work for this greed god
Pat made $178.5M, 1711x avg Intel employees made, that means avg Intel employees made ~$104K in 2021. Tim Cook made $98.7M, 1477x avg Apply employees made, so avg Apple employees made ~$68K in 2021. That means avg Intel employees made $36K more than avg Apple employees. Is that true? Did I miss anything?
Pat's contribution to Intel is to go hat-in-hand asking money --or is it shaking down?-- from politicians in the USA and Western Europe...
"Give me a few billions so I can build new fabs in your countries, or else China will control the world! Oh, and BTW, thanks for your contribution towards my overly inflated compensation."
I think he should divy up his salary 112,000 ways.
Vote no confidence in the board of directors -- they approved the remuneration plan.
Oust them all.
Cook did something, Pat has done nothing, but he sure needs to as how can he justify that kind of compensation without generating growth?
He talks about the symbolism to Jobs, he is a joker. Jobs reinvented the PC, music, the phone.
Fantastical Pat’s vision is he can out compete against TSMC+ Apple+ Nvidia+ AMD+ Qualcomm + MediaTek. Does Pat know Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla and so many others want leading edge silicon that he doesn’t have but his bigger competitor does. He begs for government money to build shells.
Silly Pat, he is most certainly delusional. Does he know the five stages of business decline. Intel and Pat are a perfect model here!
Apple Inc (AAPL.O) CEO Tim Cook earned 1,447 times the average employee's salary at the tech giant in 2021.
How will he raise the stock price with a no-growth PC market and 0 free cash flow for the next 5 years while competitors get stronger?
And 80% of that is only paid out if the stock hits targets over the next 3-5 years. Currently on track for a 0% payout one year in. If he can raise the market cap by $403B, he more than deserves to receive 0.03% of that value.
One reason I stayed. They got a good CEO this time.
One of the reasons I left.
