Still a juicy nothingburger
It's hardly ever a "nothingburger" when the chairman of a board steps down. Between this and the increased activity in the Xerox April call options, my guess is X is being bought out or merged with another company and the agreement was that the chairman will be someone from the purchasing/merging company.

Apple? Google? Amazon? Ohhh myyyyy! No toner or machines but Arrogant presumption still well stocked at xerox.
