For those of you who have just been laid off or were previously, did you receive your bonus and severance at the same time or were they sent separately?

It come several weeks after your last day of work. This is after you sign all the legal documents agreeing to all their stipulations. Also, at least in my experience, the severance amount is a joke. The only time it was not a joke was when they did layoff in CA HealthNet in 2020 - they offered people 6 MONTHS of severance pay regardless of the number of years of employment. You read that right - SIX MONTHS. Why? It was their attempt to save face since it was done during the earlier part of the COVID-19 pandemic/lock-down. Boy, did Centene regret that choice. They set a precedent and did everything they could to keep it from happening again. And it hasn't happened since. Since then, any layoff severance was measured in a few weeks (of course dependent on your time of service there).
Separate. And they were mostly separate because your severance is sent several weeks after you sign paperwork.
