Ford has so many problems, but I think the toxic and highly political culture, the constant fear of being laid off, and complete disregard for employee input or suggestions for improvement top the list. Just those three things are driving the record high attrition that will not stop any time soon. Not that I think the management cares or plans to make any changes to any of it, of course.

I was here long enough to remember Ford 2000. But when I see this split, I am reminded of Visteon or PAG. I am leaving this year. If I don't have trust, faith in the ability of senior management on the direction of the company then it is time to go. I hate to see anyone lose a job. For those that like to see someone get laid off well you need mental help. Because you are sick in the head.
