There are big talks about pushing a massive amount of more jobs overseas. If you are on a hiring freeze, it's not because we don't need the people, it's because there is going to be a big outsourcing initiative for a lot of positions.

Some of the networking jobs aren't moving overseas, rather 1 block down the road, near the amc theater.
High-level HQ people getting let go already, including previous PEAK winners. Performance means nothing.
Unfortunately, I have sat in the meetings and OP is right. Not EVERYONE is getting outsourced but if you are on a hiring freeze right now and you guys are short handed, you are more than likely getting outsourced.
We've been on a hiring freeze for a long time in my group (almost 2 years). People leave and you don't get a backfill for them.
I heard the same. My job has been in a hiring freeze for about 6 months, we keep getting hints that outsourcing is coming soon.
RSM and RAM positions are frozen as well, so that's not true at all. There's a reorg happening though and a remake of care/retail coming.
