The EIA tracks imports by country so how much Chevron imports it is all public data at this point.

If the US had ba--s and the actual cause they would be in their helping Ukraine not imposing sanctions.

Now do we have cause to go in to support them? Well that’s the real question. Kerry talked the UK and Ukraine into giving up nuclear power plants and weapons (in the fight for climate) that they used to defend themself in exchange for protection. We then gave up energy independence to be reliant upon others. Ukraine was originally part of Russia. Ukraine has been doing some funny business with their money and politics and alliances for a long time. Russia has also not attacked the areas with homes or mass populated areas.

I understand if we go off of feelings Russia is in the wrong. With that said this is not feelings time and or opinions of mass media. This is do we have the right to stop this. Don’t get me wrong my heart goes out for everyone involved it’s as bad as a civil war but is it our place. If you want to focus on something maybe look into African countries where the rebels have been doing this for a long time or maybe look at Afghanistan where we just left to give everything back to Isis. Don’t forget currently we are letting mu---rs run loose on the streets of America and leaving our boarders open as well. You have to be strong and stand for all not for one. We have lost our way.

We now have people demanding that you dump anything Russia or be canceled. Sounds pretty tyrannical to me.

Now we have the Canadian Hockey League barring 16 and 17-year-old Russian and Belarusian skaters from this year's import draft. People are vandalizing businesses here owned by Russian immigrants. Mob mentality, whether virtual or real never hurts the people the fools are really mad at.

Supporting the arts and social programs in Russia is a far cry from supporting the government of Russia. So the people of Russia should suffer because their government is being sh---y? Doing something that many of them don't support in the first place? Sounds fair.

The Caspian pipeline benefits countries other than Russia-notably, Kazakhstan. So they should lose revenue because their neighbor is being aggressive? Because they can just exert so much more political pressure than what's already being used, right?
