Outsourcing Responsibly

Based on India's government response to the Russian invasion, it would be nice to see Fidelity reconsider how many jobs we outsource to this country.

Skilled? Have you called customer service in the past year? Seems you only need a GED and a pulse to get hired there now.

On the same logic how about Dalian development center - where China is openly accusing US and said in UN that US is behind for all this mayhem . So this post is really absurd ..

Geopolitical issues are more complicated than how they look on surface . India is in a very tight situation with it’s traditional adversaries getting closer to Russia. With China at its doorstep threatening all the time and Pakistan looking for every opportunity for insurgency - India is worried if it takes side it will get in trouble on both east and west side of its border . Also 60% of Indian weapons are Russia made - it needs Russia for parts and maintenance

I whole heartedly disagree that India is critical to Fidelity's success. India is critical to Fidelity operating at a lower cost, but outsourcing to India certainly didn't save Fidelity from financial ruin.

You don't have to include "stupid post," to have a discourse like 2 adults.

India buys too many weapons from Russia to have a backbone and they're also buying up that cheap, cheap Ural oil. They'll continue to play the fence to suit their needs. What war? It's just a minor incursion.
