Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Kumar ain't happy!

In a recent message we got lectured about leaking content from Building Ford+ meetings. A direct result of the outrage following the meeting where the 54% vs 135% disparity was discussed. LOL

Ridiculous. When there are unfair things discussed and management just wants to sweep it under the carpet, it should be leaked!!

Well Kumar...we are not happy with the B.S. the leadership team tried to pull with the AICP percentages. Leadership approved of this fiasco and got caught. If you don't want it in the news then don't try to sc--w the actual working people of this company.

JF doesn’t have the b*LLs to address his public statement.
He will punt to Kumar. Kumar will with fingers and toes crossed spew falsehoods.
The sycophants will applaud and engage in virtual back slapping.
The gullible will be lulled into submission.

"We have too many people." -JF

Interesting there has been no damage control for this yet. Tomorrow global town hall maybe?

If so, then absolutely positively NO SHARING ON THIS PUBLIC WEB FORUM!!!!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

In preparation for the impending cuts, save off those emails, vmails, IMs, meeting minutes that will help you and others.
Ford is worried about being found guilty of discrimination in the impending cuts.
Ford becomes ineligible for any government contract if they are found guilty of discrimination in a court of law, this includes age discrimination.
Everyone knows the game that is being played, time for laying a paper trail.

Think 54% / 135% was reviewed and approved at the highest levels before the announcement? it would be interesting to see the gsr/ll5 percentages for the last ten years .

How dare he lecture us on trust! Trust was damaged the day 54% was announced. It was decimated to nothing the day we learned that management rewarded themselves with 135%. Rest assured, nothing would have changed without that leak to the press.

"Presentation rule: When something appears on a slide presentation, assume the world knows about it and deal with it accordingly. Assume it will be published on the front page of the WSJ, NYT, and the Detroit News tomorrow."

This was one of the unwritten rules in the days prior to everyone having laptops, e-mail, and WebEx. With today’s technology, it should be assumed anything disparaging that we try to hide or bury will eventually get out.

This should have been a career ending fiasco. Kumar, it is on you to earn our trust back. Sadly, I suspect management will just dig faster and deeper in the future to hide these negative developments.

For the first time in my over 29 years with the company I saw young & senior employees unite to call out the BS that our management team spews on bonuses.
Now that we all know what they think of us not only from the bonuses but JF recent comments in the press the exodus will accelerate both voluntarily people leaving to the upcoming cuts that will come this year.
Trust and confidence in the management team is gone. Notice I do not use the term Leadership? That is reserved for someone who has a realistic vision and a plan on how to get there. something our management team do not understand. Good luck to everyone in whatever path you pursues outside Ford.

Honestly how does Bill Ford and the rest of the family get up every day and look in their gold-studded mirrors?

Paraphrasing Kumar - "How dare you catch me with my pants down cheating. And you took a picture. And you showed it to the entire world. Don't you have some god-given work ethic or shame or decency or respect for others privacy?"
Yeah right, Fcuk Ford!

Everyone remembers the Nassar statement. Plenty of lawyers do as well.
Woke management and HR cannot help but periodically giving lawsuit ammo. Of course this kind of thing gets leaked.

Hah, reminds me of the time that Jacques Nasser gave some sort of lecture to the upper management and in the video I saw said, " I see too many white faces around the room". The video was on some internal web page but vanished within a day or two after posting. Any one else remember that one?

Boo Hoo they were surprised that people didn’t bend over and say “Thank you sir may I have another” and now are blaming and shaming the victims.

Are we surprised? Heck no. The behavior is consistent with past behaviors.
Lost count of the number of times people were dressed down by Ford management for putting things in emails/writing as it removed managements ability to claim something didn’t happen / they didn’t know something happen. Conveniently management is always able to manufacture written documentation to blame and frame an engineer or two for managements actions/inactions though. LOL

Totally agree with the so called 'leak'. Rather more like whistle blowing on Ford mgt's greed. They had every intention of taking the money and running EXCEPT they were caught and called out. What a joke of the cronie posters expressing their fake "how dare they leak" posts last week. The ridiculous "keep our dirty laundry in the family", "mgt was always going to do the right thing". Nothing more than our professional paid 'fluffer' staff directed to try to PR and build fake outrage. Mgt was pi---d they were caught with their hands in the Ford cookie jar.
