Feels like over 50% of my org left for new higher-paying jobs elsewhere within the last 6 months, and this is BEFORE the annual bonus payout opens the floodgates to more resignations that will likely take the remaining 50%.
Has anyone heard of any team anywhere at Dell even trying to retain people any more? I had asked a VP if there would be any strategic changes to try to retain people in light of the mass resignations and the response was basically a shrug.
I genuinely don’t know how anything is going to get done next fiscal year with entire teams and decades of knowledge completely gone with no backups or documentation, but also have not seen a single leader anywhere taking this matter seriously. (Probably because they too are actively interviewing elsewhere…)
