What's the point of them? The ones we currently have are struggling to stay open as most of the people are buying online. This trend is here to stay, everybody knows this. We should be exiting brick-and-mortar altogether and here we are adding more locations for no good reason. Next level of stupidity.

more stores to process uverse and directv equipment returns. maybe chris cuomo can be hired in one of these AR stores cuz he not allowed in COR.
Not company owned. Even the existing ones are being converted to AR, Prime Communications (purely coincidentally started and run by former T execs).
The general public doesn't know the difference between an AR and COR.
Perhaps somebody has a larger view of business plans. Unless of course you are the near the top of the pile and that being the case your input would be taken, but not necessarily followed.
If they think they can make money by opening a store then they will. Not sure what's do hard to understand here.
All this talk about existing stores struggling and whatnot is noise. The csuite doesn't care a wh-t.
Is Brian Shay back. I thought he retired along with is stale ideas to open more stores.
as long as a presence is there, a sign with a logo that's all that matters. It will become AR if not already,
They haven't crushed enough souls yet.
Ha, they cant keep the existing ones running! Green managers with 2yrs or less of service! The suck ups, they get in position ans cant wait to transfer or step down! They try to "coach" reps to do ethic violations for gross adds and tell false info on DTV stream and people wonder why we face layoffs and closures
doesn't make much sense does it. authorized retailers is just another way for the company to chicken and not take responsibility for poor service and products.
probably saves them from any legal aspects.
The new stores are probably Authorized Retailers and not company owned. That is what is happening in my area.
T has never had a good track record for forecasting.
