Here’s a story about my former colleague. He worked here for years and always pushed himself to perform to the best of his abilities. He was one of those guys who lived for his job, always loyal to Allstate. And then he got laid off. None of our colleagues could have imagined that this would happen.
He got a job in a much better company very quickly. After a complete burnout and disappointment here, instead of proving himself in the new company and working as diligently as he did here, he fell into depression. Due to bad performance they fired him.
I can only imagine how many more cases like this there is.
