There aren't enough people to do the work right now. If they cut any more there won't be enough of us left to get everything done. This is a simple fact. I would be happy to be laid off with severance. I'm overworked so that would allow me to take a short break to recharge my batteries. But it will not happen, I'm certain of it. At least for now.

Centene/Fidelis is the new factory work of this century, their policy? “Shut up and to the work” , so what if you have to sacrifice your PTO” , who cares? Certainly not Centene or Fidelis CEO, they’ll be sure to take theirs
ditto on do not answer those surveys truthfully. the link is unique to each employee and they sometimes use that to layoff departments and certain employees. They do not want to hear the truth and certain directors/VPs will retaliate (despite it being against HR rules for those surveys), and if you complain or tel HR about the retaliation, you will be laid off or get lower bonus % and raise. Seen it happen to many good employees in the past 3 years, which is why I and others no longer take them.
Agree! Don’t ever respond to surveys. They can always track who it was. Plus why give them more info on how to make it seem like they’re doing something for you while continuing to actually do nothing? They’re not honest about why your workload is increasing, or why you’re not getting the salary, respect, title you deserve, why should you tip them off that you’re aware of their game either? Or help HR or ER complete another meaningless task to justify their own job? Best bet is to move on out and move on up elsewhere. They know the answers to the survey questions before they ask + they’re written in a way to be able to spin the results into something that looks like the people have spoken and things are great/getting so much better/about to get better. Ignore their words. What are you and your peers experiencing? What do you see? How is it affecting you and your life? Do your own personal survey. That’s the truth.
Do not put this I formation on the surveys as suggested in this thread.
I promise you it’s not as anonymous as they say it is..even when run by a third party. I’ve just stopped responding to the surveys altogether.
They only care about money. It’s just that simple. This place runs on its ability to get as much out of us for as little as possibly and give members as little as possible while getting as much as it can from states. It’s dirty and getting dirtier. The only reason it bothers doing anything for employees is because its required by law and also can’t operate without attracting new victims. The old super old!! boys at the top are literally laughing about how much they can get out of us for as little as possible and they look down on the people they are supposed to serve. They’re completely unethical, but expect religious like work ethic from us. You’ll never keep up with the constantly growing work load or metrics and it’s a great excuse to have you constantly thinking you’re not good enough, justify not promoting you or giving you a raise, and make you wonder if you’re about to get fired. It’s diabolical and effective. Take your PTO. Spend half of it doing things you like, reminding yourself there is life outside of this jail. Spend the other half applying for jobs. Then come back and smile to everyone, you love your job! until you surprise give your notice. Smile though it will make you sick and tell them this was such a fantastic opportunity you just got another unexpected one and you just can’t pass it up, but thank you kind sir for the amazing experience. That’s what I just did but if the next job gets like this one I’ll do it again. No loyalty to a company only people who deserve it and me! and always tell them what they need to hear just like they do. Actions speak so much louder than words.
They need to chill with their unrealistic expectations. If so many people are so miserable, why not say something on those surveys that they seem to do every 6 months or so? Speak up. Those employee satisfaction surveys mean a lot to the company as a whole. They can't fix something they are not aware of.
I just found out today that my production to meet expectations includes the workload I would have for PTO and holidays. So if I take a day off I'm expected to ask for additional work to cover work lost from my day off or else I won't meet expectations. I'm so infuriated, I'm crying. I'm so done!
