Stores are either understaffed or overstaffed. Why's that?
Why is it that my store can't offer good service to customers because there are too few of us (and this has been going on for a long time), while others here write that their stores are overstaffed? Are decision makers even aware of this situation?

To few of you - that’s why the stores will be going to this new program of support team helping on the registers now and coming in 2 hours before store opens. Thanks
Higher volume stores mean more Colleagues and attention. I’ve seen several Colleagues transfer from lower volume sites over the past year for larger locations some for better opportunities and more money. Some for job security along with it. Also seen applicants come into the smaller lower volume stores but depends on the Store team and what they’re offered.
It depends on how much money the stores are making. If they make a lot of money, they will get more people.
Depends on applicant flow (application and accepting offers) and turn over rate (how fast they leave) . Two main factors in staffing.
