The way we handle claims is bad faith on a daily basis! Where/when will the DOI step in and protect the customer!? It is maddening that a company this size is allowed to operate this way. I literally see or hear bad faith claim handling on a daily basis. Is there a way to anonymously report these practices?

"Allstate has been side-stepping the requirement for licensed adjusters by sending non-qualified "inspectors" to homes." OK. So, if an insurer, any company hires ladder assist company with a Haag Cert inspector with proper equipment, ladders, climbing shoes, etc to climb, inspect and report on a multi story complex roof that's bad faith? Because it is a "requirement" to have a licensed inexperienced adjuster try to do it? Makes sense.
Go ahead, down vote! Can't use any sense on this board.
Allstate has been side-stepping the requirement for licensed adjusters by sending non-qualified "inspectors" to homes. They get around the "requirement" because the "inspector" reports to an inside licensed adjuster who is handling the claim remotely from their home office.
Unless a customer complains to their state DOI, non-compliance in claims is not usually identified by the DOI until they do a market conduct exam that includes claims practices.
Why don't you list the here. That would get some attention. Or move on with your no substance post
Can you give us an example of something we are told to do that is BF?
Report them! Email or letters. The leaders literally have no loyalty to the employees /customers. They have said many times they only care about the shareholders.
