I can no longer stand this place and the lack of respect I experience here daily so I gave notice. Just a few more days to endure here. Honestly, I didn't expect any reaction, I thought that Citi didn't care who left, but it wasn't like that. The superior seemed to be angry and hurt. Pretty funny. I guess they expect some loyalty from us, despite everything?

Citi is a hot mess, I am sorry to say to the blind sheep old timers, you were/are/got duped, it's bad...wayyyyy better companies out there.

Good for you on seeing that your worth is more than they are willing to give and choosing to leave for a better place. As has been said many times, if you don’t like your environment, then change your environment and that’s exactly what you are doing.
Loyalty is earned not demanded. Company loyalty went out the window long long ago.
Since we are all treated as a commodity, an asset to be traded or discarded at will for any or no reason, then my loyalty is only as good as my last paycheck. Earn your pay….sure, no issue there. Loyalty…I have as much loyalty to the company as the company has for me.
